Garters in the field: April-June 2009

Just a few more garter pics I have taken out in the field...

    T. sirtalis from fitchi/infernalis intergrade zone (Carruthers Compartment, Redwood National and State Parks) April 7, 2009

possibly T. ordinoides (All scale counts reflect this classification, however the basic gestalt of this snake, esp. the cranial shape, speaks elegans to me!) (Coastal Drive near Klamath River, RNSP) April 30, 2009

    T. ordinoides (with unshed eye scale) (Coastal Drive) April 30, 2009

    T. sirtalis from fitchi/infernalis intergrade zone (Demartin, RNSP)

    T. e. terrestris (Lower Counts Hill, Bald Hills, RNSP) May 13, 2009

    T. sirtalis from fitchi/infernalis intergrade zone (Lower Elk Camp Prairie, Bald Hills, RNSP) May 19, 2009
