    Found a female..

Hey i wanted to share i got a female garter and i beleive she is gravid. I caught her about two weeks ago and she was very tame and handable, i thought this was weird for a wild snake. Just about a week ago she started to eat, i fed her worms and then a couple days later went to the petstore and got some rosies and she happily ate them. I know they are not the best for them but i just wanted to see if she would take fish. So now i think im going to give her guppies and have a pinky in the dish to see if she eats it, so she has a wide variety of diet for her pregnancy. When the babies arrive im going to let them go where they belong and also let the mother on her way as well. And the best part is she just shed today so she looks great! Not dull at all! Does anyone know when shell pop? I heard around the beginning of august....

Welcome & good luck with your girl! (we love pictures ) If early August is the typical time frame for your area I'd go with that. They often do shed within a week of giving birth, though...

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.
