    it's happening

    Thing is having her babies
so far four live ones and three jelly beans

there's obviously more coming and I'm very much hoping that some of those will be snake babies, although I have to say the jelly beans don't bother me as much as stillborns do

it's not looking good for more, although I'm still hoping
she's had several jelly beans and three stillborns, two really large ones (9"), one of which had a really bad kink and lump in the lung area, the other one I think suffocated during birth, the third was tiny and underdeveloped
she's still going through contractions, but after this many jellies and dead ones I wonder what the chances are for survivors in there
this being her first time, I'm just happy she seems fine and her live babies are really lovely

Great news. They look wonderful and Thing looks like she's doing fine. Keep us informed and let's see some additional photos, when there's a break in the action.. You can never see too many newborns.
