Oh my, now one of my snow T.radix

is giving birth, so far 5 snows, 3 stillborns, and 1 jelly bean. Actually one of the "stillborns" was born alive but extremely deformed and kinked with a huge lump and bend midway and the entire back half was very kinked, and so I did what I have had to do before, I put him/her in the freezer. I realize that some would dissagree with my decision, and believe me it's never easy and I do it with much reluctance and regrets, it pains me deeply, but I think is the right thing to do.
It's funny the snow Iowa plains are so tame and docile temperament right from the gate, they are the so far removed from the wild apparently, you can hold them in your hand and they just slowly move around flicking their tongue and looking at you unafraid as if you had been working with them to tame them up for months. I think you could almost make the arguement that they are a domesticated animal, lol. I'm so tired, need sleep, pics tomorow maybe.

Great news about the births. I've had to use the freezer a number of times. I know where you're at. Sorry about the loss.
This is such good news concidering the losses many of us have had to deal with this winter.
Tired or not it only takes a few minutes to click and upload those new photos. Get-r-done, then sleep

There was a deformed one that needed to be euthanized.
