    Lucky Again!

Tonight, while feeding the livingroom girls. Our girl Lucky wanted out after everyone was fed. This isn't unusual since I take her on my feeding rounds. Down stairs we went to the big enclosure. When I woke those girls up this morning, they wanted fed so I knew they would be eager to eat. I opened it up and put Lucky inside as I always do. She'll cruise around, going up one of my arms and down the other.
My normally calm(haha) females we more than eager to eat, since pinkies were on the menu. This round of eating was going fine until they all realized there was food and rushed me. I was surprized by the speed and agility of their attack. Coming at me from all direction they overwhelmed me. I had radixes everywhere. Some just probing, others biting. They located the stash of pinkies and came at me in a second wave. This time there was nothing subtle about the attack. I could see it in their eyes. It was them or me.
While this was going on Lucky decided to go exploring. Out and around the corner of the cage she went. After calming everyone else down(which took approximately 1 minute) I noticed Lucky was gone. I scanned the floor and then around that corner. I didn't see her and felt real panic. I rushed everyone into the hide and closed the enclosure. I once again looked around the corner and saw her. She was going into the wall by squeezing in between the drywall and light switch box(no, I didn't have a light switch cover on it) I grabbed her and knew I was in trouble. There was no way she was coming back out by me pulling on her. I tried to keep her from advancing deeper into the wall and struggled for a way out of this situation. The only thing I could think of was to get the drywall out of my way. I had a hold of her with my right hand. All I had to work with was my stupid left hand(I'm right handed). After a number of punches to the wall I finally broke through. Tearing chunkes off I made my way to the light switch area. I carefully removed the last piece and pulled her from the wall. She was unharmed and unshakened. As for me, I was breathing heavy and my hand was starting to swell up. I don't think anything is broken.

LOL, well at least you had a hold of her, think of how much drywall you'd have to rip apart if she sliped throught your fingers!

My thought is, what if I hadn't seen her go into the wall!
She really is lucky and so am I. Drywall and a hurt hand are an easy fix. Losing her would have been painful for ever.
