Hi everyone,
I'm from Cambridge, UK, and have been keeping snakes for about 8 years.

I currently have 2 garters - a santa cruz and a (I think) red-sided, both 04.
Also got a few corns, a pueblan milk, a variable king and a royal, and I've kept various corns, kings, garters and CRB's in the past.

Been looking for a garter forum for ages - dunno how I missed this one for so long!

I'm looking to find out a bit more about the food side of things as I'm concerned that a rodent only diet isn't the best thing for my two, but (as you'll see from my first proper post) I'm a bit concerned about thiaminase so any help/advice would be much appreciated!

It's great to see more members from the UK joining the forum. You've joined at a great time because we have a lot of very friendly and knowledgeable members, and we're starting to write different articles related to snakes. Rodents are a normal part of their diet. Scott Felzer gets his on rodents and feeds only rodents after that. His snakes are very healthy. I do the same with mine. I h ave had no problems with them feeding only on rodents, they seem quite healthy to me. And welcome to the forum!!!!!
