I would be tempted to just replace everything as quickly as you can... as you said, they are so tiny it's easy for them to hide in unbelievable small spaces and your little snake might still be hiding in the equipment.
One tip to stop future escapes James gave me last year, which has been incredibly useful, was to stretch a piece of net curtain over the top of the starter tank, if that's what you're using. Just make sure it is completely tight and trapped underneath the lid.

She is using one of those exo terra terrariums... which I failed to mention before (and I apologize for not having done so) that I used one myself until the two amelanistic radiated rat snake babies I had in there dissapeared. I never found either of them That tanks sits in my basement un-used until this day. My advice would be to keep them in a smaller tank until they are large enough to where thres no way they will be able to fit through the grooves in that black part that lines the doors at the front. That's where they get out even though it does not look passable.

I really hope your baby turns up soon, don't give up hope! I too have had a snake turn up before I even knew it was missing.

Sid, thanks so much. Wish this had been pointed out to me when I needed to help Dave. I'll send a link off to him immediately. Thank you so much.
