    Waste not, Want not!

I have just started converting my Radixs over to pinkies and fuzzys. I noticed in the bottom of the pinkies bag a lot of broken off legs and tails. I was about ready to throw them away when I realize how great these would be for newborns. They could be scented with worms if needed. I just tested out my idea on my 9 day olds. "Like fish to water" They like it, they like it. It can only help when they are older and mice is on the menu. My adults are eating fuzzies right from my hand, no scenting required. I have a very old female who reacted like she remembered these things and now won't take worms when fuzzies are available.

    Too funny Steve...

I use the little broken off tails and feet to make "Garter Goulash"

Chop up fish and worms, mix in the pinky limbs and serve the paste to my babies, they gobble it up.

I guess great minds must think alike

I do the Garter Goulash thing with the snapped off bits too! I'm sure there's a thread about it somewhere.
My babies take them straight off!

For some odd reason, I don't end up with that many broken-off legs and tails. But it's still a good idea to use them.

I've yet to have a single mitt or tail flopping around... If I did, of course I'd use them.

Sometimes there seem to be very few lost limbs in the bag... other times there are dozens! I guess it depends on how the bags have been handled after freezing.

I just got my first order from rodent pro and was suprised at all the broken bits in the bag... and the one or two mouse droppings...not a huge deal, but thought it was odd. Guess not, eh?

Oh. Because you know, it seems to me that, aside
from being a little mentally ill, she's pretty normal.

I honestly think that those are "flash frozen" (euthanizes and prepares all in one step)

Then they are packed in dry ice (many times colder than your freezer) only to be handled by UPS the shipping firm most notorious for rough handling boxes.

Ever seen Terminator 2, the scene where the liquid nitrogen tank ruptures?

I have even found broken off heads in those bags.

Need pinky parts, whack one of those with a blunt object moments after you open the box.
