    Questions

I was wondering if anyone noticed this with thier pregnant females?
Do they spend an abnormal time in the water bowl? When I first received my female she was never in the water bowl, but now she is in there constantly? I looked over her for mites and didn't see anything. What are your thoughts?

    Re: Questions

Sky is a boy, and yes sitting in water all day is a symptom of mites.

Since these snakes are black and blue, the mites are really hard to see.

I recommend a bottle of Zoo Med "Mite Off" it is safe and natural, and worse case, it is harmless even if there are no mites, in other words it's worth six bucks just to have piece of mind that nothing got overlooked.

By mass gathering (and I assume mass housing) that if only one of the snakes had mites, it spreads to the whole group.

I cannot see this person taking the time and spending the money to house all snakes individually, treat them and check them before selling them. moves too many too fast....

    Re: Questions

Jeez, got Sky's gender wrong. WOOPS! Sorry about that, Wayne.

Thanks for the heads-up/tip regarding mites and soaking. I'd have never known that had you not told me/us. It's a good thing to know.
