So maybe the trivia question is too tough, or maybe no one likes trivia.
Here is a few hints. The common name for the lizard in mentioned in a song, and the song was from the 70's. The song was a big hit, I will bet most over 30 have heard the song....Andrew

I love trivia, but this one has me stumped... There's "See You Later Alligator" by Bill Haley & The Comets from the 50's. Then "Alligator Wine" which has been covered by a number of artists probably most notably Screamin' Jay Hawkins, but again, not in the 70's. Hey, how bout Crocodile Rock? I really thought the pic looked like an Alligator Lizard, tho? Yeah, I'm stuck and I know I'm going to be hitting my head in typical Homer Simpson fashion when the answer is revealed!
