I'm getting checkereds, FINALLY!

Yes! believe it or not.... I was having a hard time finding some checkered garter snakes that were not teensie weensie and/or albino for a long time. All that I wanted was normal, not albino, not het for albino, not nothing to do with albino checkered's!!!! I finally get my wish!!! picking up the yearling trio at hamburg for $50!!!!

I am really hoping to find some other thamnophis at the show as well!!! I have started reducing the amount of other colubrids in my collection mso that I can have even more garters!! Like more radix... parietalis....... atratus.... ::sigh::

And what is it, may I ask.. that is so darned awesome about radix? I don't know why but I do love my normal female radix a whole lot!

WHOOHOO!!!! I LOVE Checkereds!! They where what got me into garters!! Or snakes in general for the matter! Which might explain that by the end of this week I will have a grand total of *10* adult checkereds and a yearling. Rofl!! Yes. I love checkereds. lol!

I really need a normal radix... So bad!! And I need some normal easterns to. I have a grand total of none! But I do have a pair of flame easterns. Which I won't complain about. loL!

Oh and might I add that in all my checkered excitement. Mine too aren't het or homozygous for nothing but green!

wow, i feel like sh*t, im so sorry shannon...thats why i hate buying from dealers i dont know...never really know for sure what your getting. If i ever see some checkereds around i will pick em up for you.
