Just got in from cutting the grass and my big eastern apparently was expecting. I don't have a count or pics yet, but I'll get both once I get them seperated and clean up the mess.

Thanks everyone, 23 healthy babies...no stillborns. Here are the first pics, more to come.



This one kinda shows their size, they're big babies.

I'll be releasing almost all of them where I found mom (now that the river/flooding has gone down), I will keep a couple of the cutest ones...although they're all adorable.

Thanks for all the kind words, I really didn't expect to have this many babies. I guess I'd better go tomorrow and get some worms, the nightcrawlers I'm feeding mom won't cut it.
