    What to do...

One of my girls is 108 days after witnessed copulation. For the last day or so she has been desperate to find a way out of her viv and is rubbing her nose against the glass like crazy. She is on carefresh bedding. I feel like she is looking for a place to have the babies. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Maybe she's looking for a warm humid place to pop ... have you tried a moss box to help her along?

She shed about 2 weeks ago. Last year she shed about a month or more before the babies came though.

When you say moss box - do you mean like a laying box?

AHA thanks! I don't think she needs a humid hide at this point. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Yeah. Why, Mojo, don't you think she needs a humid hide? Besides encouraging her to birth, it would just be comfy.

    Why no humid hide?

She has perfect sheds without it and the humidity around here has been very high. Even though we did finally turn on the AC I bet the humidity in the room is close to 60%. If it was recommended as a birthing box then I would try it.

    Re: What to do...

I think maybe Zephy mentioned that. Maybe it's not the ambient air humidity, but the soft wet moist strata to keep the babies moist and warm that she's seeking. I don't think they pay too much attention to the air when they birth, but look for conditions that are suitable for the young and are similar to what they would find in the woods/around a lake/etc.
