    new arrivals

The other week i went to my usual pet store for some pinkies. The shop owner said she could now get Checkered's. I said that i had a few already.
I felt that as i had asked that shop if they could get me some Garters and now they said they could i should get one. So i went back and ordered a female. Got a call to say that they could not sex them as they were too small so i said give it a couple of weeks and i would have it. This week i got it on Wednesday. It is very small but it ate a couple of fish bits on Friday.

    another new arrival

Today i got a Male Red Sided Garter Snake. It should have been 2,a male and female. I had been emailing the shop and said i wanted both and i would pay a deposit but got an email to say they had sold the female but i could have the male for £20 instead of £30. So instead of watching the FA Cup Final as i would have been i went to Seaford and got him. Soon i will put film in my SLR camera and take photos and put them on a CD as this might give better results.

So, I've lost track a little, what have you got now? ... your collection must be growing now, Peter.

    fed my red sided

Today i got my Red sided garter as said ealier. Got it into a hagen tank. Also bought a tub of earth worms. One of my Floridor Blues and my Common are only eating worms so gave them some of the worms and gave the Red sided some too and it took them straight away. Also i tried too get my common to eat a pinkie by letting the worms crawl over it but it didnt take it so as a thought i gave it to the Red and it ate it. Whilst eating it you can see its colouring. My little baby Checkered also ate a worm.
