    Introducing Celie and Cedric

These are my 2 new family members.
Could anyone please tell me what their latin name is please?
Cedric is the one with the more gold to his scales.

my apologies for the poor picture quality those guys move very fast and dont seem to like their picture take and i had to remove the basking light inorder to take the piccys.
Any information you can give me on these guys and where they originate from would be really appreciated.

The pictures are a bit blurry, Jeanette, but they look like Thamnophis radix to me.
Do they look like the snakes in this thread?

    Or this one

Four of the five snakes in those pictures are definitely T. radix, but one looks like something else, possibly a T. sirtalis.

I also think they are radix, but by seeing the last picture I'm not so sure about the lowest one.
Maybe after some more exercise ....

    T. radix is a good choice, Jeanette. Absolutely my favourite Garter. I have 4.3 (4 males and 3 females).
