Evil Garter Eyes!

Okay, I am sure you guys have noticed this. many garters have large round eyes with not a whole lot of expression, makes them seem happy-go lucky. And then the other half seem to have these evil, angry looking, slanty eyes that make them look mischevious and really, really mad!!! And you'll see both kinds in all of the subspecies! I'm just curious to see other people's garter's eyes now and how many of each kind you have!

Now THAT is an angry looking garter!! I love it!

It's that bulge above the eye and the amount of black in the corners, isn't it?
Babies certainly don't seem to have them. They have that innocent big-round-eyed look. No reason to be cross yet.

Not all adult garters have eyes like that though. Some of mien have those big round vacant ones like the babies

I am loving all the pictures though!
