    worried

man this shipping thing always freaks me out
I'm doing a trade with Tori and I shipped the snakes out yesterday, but I haven't heard from her since we agreed to do this on Friday
    so now I'm worried
should I have checked with her again before shipping?
I'm having doomsday visions of those poor snakes perishing on the UPS truck
oh Tori - are you around?
and I also know I'm overreacting
maybe she got home late from work
and of course nobody's up at this time here and where she is, it's even earlier
I just hope she didn't have some emergency or something
    please keep fingers crossed

    Re: worried

Rhea, you know the snakes will be ok for a few days, so even if Tori won't have received them when expected, the chances are good for them. It's still early where you are, isn't it? So they probably won't have been delivered yet and she might have just not had a chance to contact you.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you though, that all goes smoothly.

    whew!
just as I thought, Tori had an emergency, but she's around, so everything is fine
I just get way too anxious way too easily
    I know I need to meditate more . . .

    Re: worried

Rhea, you can stop worrying. They arrived safe and sound. The heat pack was still cranking out plenty of heat and they are in their new cages after spending a while looking things over, have settled in just fine. And not one dent in the box! Honest, they are doing great.

    Tori

By the way, they are beautiful! The adult was larger than I expected, but the cage I have her in for now is 24 x 26 and ought to do fine for now. Thanks so much!

    Re: worried

    hurrah - shipping survived
I do go through this with shipping all the time
I'm already worried about Tori's snake getting here safely (in transit as we speak)

the cage will be fine for her
she was in a slightly larger tank with two others of similar size

I'm so glad you like them

Rhea... chill! You'll worry yourself into an early grave! It's beyond your control anyway... so, relax!
