    New Ribbon Snake!

Hi all, I had a ribbon snake given to me by a friend today.
I have I.d.'d it as western Ribbon, and pretty sure it is the gulf coast subspecies Thamnophis proximus orarius, based on where he said it was found, and on appearance. It was wild caught in 2007. I'm now up to 7 different species/subspecies of thamnophis.

    Re: New Ribbon Snake!

At last confirmation! I had a Ribbon bought for me as a birthday present, though was sold as a garter snake, but that pics exactly the same as mine, thought it was a ribbon snake but good to get a clear pic to compare.
On the down side lil girls just not eating at the mo, im hoping its just a seasonal thing as ha been a while
