    Considering...

I'm not entirely sure if THIS goes here, but, what the hey!

I'm considering purchasing a pair of African house snakes if I can find them at the local show this weekend. As far as care, I was thinking that I could put them in a 31" x 13" x 6" rubbermaid bin with some holes for air, and a replaceable barrier for off-breeding season separation. Would this be ok? Can they live at room temp? *which is around 78 in my room*

And if house snakes would not do well in these conditions, would a pair of corns do better?

This is where I went for info when I got an african house snake. They have a lot of good stuff. The African House Snake
Personally, I've found that Tannin is happy and active in temps ranging from 70 - 85. The only thing he won't do is eat unless it's around 80 degrees in there. I don't know why. He also loves to climb on tree limbs. Have fun!

Huse snakes are great animals to have around, those temps should be fine for ambient but they would still need a place to warm up

Gotta let them finis hdigesting. ^^

The boy took 5 pinkies on his first day, and the girl took one that was about the size of two. However, she's not eating today, but neither is he. I'm either thinking she's a problem feeder and he's a good one, or he didn't get alot of food with his old owners and she was already full.

it depends on how large the snakes are, 5 pinkies?!! lol it should be 1 or 2 of mice of rats that is 1.5 larger than the thickest point on its body, and adults you should feed once a week and babies or juvs like 5 a week, and the female could be scared or just full
