Tank Size?

My wife and I have a 29gal tank and are wandering how many adult garters can be kept in one or if it is only big enough to hold one?

Any in-site would be greatly appreciated.

I would say two ideally, maybe three max.... just remember that they need it dry but not too dry and to not forget to clean frequently.... I currently have three large female garters together and three males together in a separate cage.... they seem to do better for me in small groups... same with my redbellies and Smooth Green Snakes...
