As Ashley said, what exactly is your question? You mean you have garters in your garden? If so we could ID them with pictures...

How to catch one? Look for them in grass, under logs, etc., then pick it up. Trust me, it's not complicated lol.

idk where u are located but picking a nice warm sunny spot is probably best bet this time of year. Its not hard, just be quick! you will get musk on you and itll stink, also might get a bite but its nothing to be worried about.

I dont dare touch before I know 100% sure they are all the same species. Imagine what it would look like if one of them is not. Arch, please I am not used to snakes. They are so damm fast. I want to fotografe them to make sure there is non poisonous. Is at sundown the best time when they gather ? there are so many.....uch. I am not used to any snake. I want to catch them in a trap and then release.

Tell us where you are at and we can help you identify which species are in your area.
There is a lot to caring for garters and I question whether you are ready for this undertaking(no offense meant). Maybe it would be best to study the care sheet and wait on getting one. Better to be prepared, for you and the snake. The more comfortable you are with the animal the better care it will receive.
