Thumbs up Baby Garter Snake Not Eating

hey guys im new to this forum so i hope i did this right. but my question is I found a baby garter snake a week or so ago when i was weedwacking, i was looking for a baby so i let go of my current full grown snake and put my baby snake in. the first couple days i had him he was shedding, which he did successfully but he still wont eat. i have been trying to feed him and have tried a couple different things, but he wont eat and he shows no interest. i tried feeding him worms, night crawlers, and fish. I cut it up in all kinds of different sizes and he still wont eat. im guessing he has never eaten before because he is really small. Let me know what i should do. thanks!

Nice to have you on the forum. Be sure to introduce yourself in the "Welcome Lounge" so we may give you a proper hello.

New snakes can go awhile before eating. It could take a few days to a few weeks. What species of garter do you have? What part of the country are you in? Knowing the species will also help us give advice on the feeding issue. A photo would be great
