7 new babys to the family =)

    I have some questions,
    - What is the best way to housing (temp. humi, space) the babies?
    - Time for first feed? i think after the first sheed but not sure
    - Is it possible a second birth? or normally all in one time? the mother is now feeding like hell xD

    Thanks!

    Congrats, dad.

House them like any other garter just a shorter water dish and shorter food dish. Wet babies can easily climb a glass or plastic enclosure, lids are required.

I offer food 24 hours after birth but it really depends on the keeper. They should have shed immediately after birth. It's an ash-likr shed.
don't wait until the second shed.

Some snakes complete birthing in a few hours a day or even a couple days.

Thanks you for the answers! and sorry for the delay but I have been working hard these days in the real work and with the babies =)

I´m trying to feed the babies with fish Tetra Neon to start with something alive, i will try this week with trout and worms. At the moment only 1 of the babies has eaten , but all appear so active and healthy =)
