    First mating of 2014

    Hello
I've had my first mating of the year! I have a young pair born in the spring of 2012 that are both 100% het melanistic and 50% poss het anerythristic. I did not hibernate them this year because they just did not seem big enough. Today I noticed that the female had shed so I put the male in her cage and within 1 minute they were locked up! I really did not expect it. They were locked up for a while. She dragged him everywhere! Poor little guy. I am hoping that she is gravid and has healthy babies.
Good luck to everyone breeding this year!
