    Simple leucistics

I'm not generally morph orientated. In fact, I dislike the vast majority of albinos (the only reason I have one is that it was a rescue) and tend to prefer clean patterns/strong colours of standard species phenotypes in general.

I do however really like the look of nice, clean leucistics in most species. I know they exists in sirtalis and can find very nice examples displayed on various websites.

But .... when looking to buy all that I can find (so far) is leucistic x flame. Personally I find the orange tint this combo creates in the offspring completely unattractive. Are 'normal' standard leucistic lines present in the hobby (were they ever even properly established?) or have they all been 'polluted' in the hunt for the next best 'awesome' combo? I am talking globally here, although I would love to speak to anyone in Europe that is working with 'clean'/'unpolluted' leucistic sirtalis (I don't have my hopes up here ).
Keeping - 'Florida blue' sirtalis, concinnus, infernalis, parietalis, radix, marcianus and ocellatus.

In my opinion since flame is a codom trait you should be able to find some classic leucistics around! By someone breeding the leucistics to normals and then breeding the none flame hets back together should clean it up for the most part! I love the looks of the orange leucistics and the classics and hope to someday have both in my collection!

you could always outcross and breed the flame trait out...thats what i would do cuz i feel the same way as you do about the coloration, id rather have a clean looking leucistic

I know, I just feel it shouldn't be necessary to out-cross in the first place. I know the morph market for all species is on a desperate charge but it would be nice to see some things properly established in the hobby before they get comboed out of recognition. It seems kind of pointless to me considering the 'Flame' phenotype has been established for a long time and plain leucistics never seem to have been established properly (certainly in Europe, possibly not in the US, but I doubt it because all I ever seem to see is the flame/leucy combo, unless it's plain leucies in breeder's collections .... being paired to flames).
