    Starting my garter journey

    Hey everyone
Just picked up my first cb checkered garters to start my in my world of garters. Absolutely adore garters and its a project I have wanted to start for a very long time. Picked me up a very nice albino with almost neon orange patterning and one that was marketed as a pastel but looks normal to me. I know we have granites, pastel, albino and normals but I'm just curious to see what we have in checkereds in the morph department. I'm not new to snakes but new to garters so I'm very excited. Been diving through the forums for weeks to find all the info I need.

Thanks for the welcome guys. By looking through the forums I can see there is a great community here. No I'm not new to snakes. I've been keeping on and off for about 15 years. Mostly lizards but I had two burms and some kingsnakes. But I believe the garter is probably one of the most beautiful so I had to get my hands on some. I have never been a breeder just a collector.

    Re: Starting my garter journey

Right now just checkered garters. I'm in Canada, it's hard to find any of the fancier easterns up here. And it's way to expensive to order from the states and uk. I have to say I have only had them for a bit over a week and they are amazing! I'm trying to find a granite phase at the moment. I can see why we have so many enthusiasts here when it comes to garters. Again thanks for the welcome. I'm glad to be apart of the community.
