Litter #8 born yesterday-Carteret Co. erythristic/peach flame Schuett albinos het mel

The female that produced this litter is a Schuett snow and the father is a Carteret County erythristic/peach flame het for Schuett albino. Ended up with 9 albinos, some of which are already showing the oranges from the erythristic but it is hard to capture on camera, and 6 normals a couple of which look like they will be erythristics. The erythristics develop more and more color during the course of the first year or so. See photo of the yearling erythristic peach flame albino produced last year to see the amazing transformation. The nice thing about these snakes is that they are all 100% het melanistic as well.

Okay, so this NEVER happens. I just shared the pic of the yearling with my wife (who does not like snakes) and I quote... "WOW, that snake is really pretty. It looks like an Orange Julius. If I had to pick a favorite, that would be it." To which I asked if she liked it enough to have one and she said....... wait for it....... Yes! So when you figure out who is up for grabs Jeff I think you have a home. Or we could just take the yearling off your hands .

Thanks, you guys are welcome to enjoy watching them color up for yourself. Dan, glad your wife appreciates the good stuff enough to support your purchase, kinda makes things easier for you to justify huh? Its difficult for me to price and sell without letting them get some color to really see which ones will be A+, B, C, and I would hate for you (or worse your wife)to be disappointed because you don't end up with one that looks like the yearling, I have a sister of hers that is gorgeous with lots of colors, just not that saturated and stunning. It might be best to let them grow for awhile

Thanks Ed, I still have quite a few girls to go and for some reason my Florida girls haven't dropped, so I am worried about them, but I can't complain about this season even if I don't have any more babies. Pretty sure my red-sideds are still going to have babies they just started real late. Have you had any babies yet? expecting some soon?
