    not shedding?

I posted some time ago that Cuddles had just entered his blue phase. Since then I have been keeping his humidity up and watching for a shed, but nothing has happened. I check him daily simply because I want to get pictures of him up this time. Perhaps I am being a bit paranoid, but he has been out of the blue phase for at least three days, possibly four, and there has been absolutely no sign of a shed.

He looks like he needs to shed. His colors are dull and there are places where the skin looks dry, as if it needs to come off, but still no shed. Is this normal? It's never taken him this long before, which is why I'm worried...

    I wouldn't worry, I'm sure he'll shed by Monday.

I agree the shed should happen very soon. If you start seeing wrinkles in the skin especially where the snake bends and/or heavy breathing get concerned . If you want, start using a warm shed box.
    Just an idea.

Cuddles shed on Friday night, just before I went to work. I would have updated sooner, but I was really sick this weekend. It took him longer than usual to get from blue phase to actual shedding which is why I started to worry. But the shed came of clean and in one piece. that is significantly better than his last shed, which didn't come off all the way. He needed a significant amount of help with that last one.

He's doing great and I will be updating his thread with pictures in about half an hour.

Great news but I don't like this long delay on photos.

Neither do I! It's my lack of a working camera, I swear! Haha it's charging right now, I promise. Then Cuddles and I will have the photoshoot I've been promising.
