What is your favorite species/subspecies of Garter Snake?

What is your favorite species/subspecies of Thamnophis? Considering that there are over 50 I should get some varied answers.

    T. Ordinoides. Two reasons, but only need one. #1) "Polymorphism" how cool is that? #2) My earliest memory- I kid not- is of myself @ 2 years old catching and chopping off the head of a ordinoides trying to look down the tube to find its legs. I had no concept of death or apparently physics at the time lol. Anyway they'll always hold a place in me heart for that.

    T. Butlerii
I think a Butlers garter was probably my first find as a kid- 'Princess' made a big impresson even tho I only kept it a few days.
My easterner are big sweeties, and Ziva my checkered is a big ol lovable drag queen, but the Butlerii are just so active and so much fun to watch, and need so little space.
