    Hello from Detroit area!

Hey everyone! I just joined here, because Im looking into getting a garter. I used to have one when I was younger, and would love to get back into garters. I never had any clue there was so many different kinds until recently. I currently have a beautiful young cornsnake, and a few empty vivs calling for a garter or two...or more! My name is Jake, and I'm relatively young compared to most of you guys. I live in MI and I love everything that has to do with cars, outdoors, and firearms. Looking forward to expanding my knowledge and getting to know some of you!

    Hello,
    Welcome to the Tham-ily!
I live in Mount Clemens. I don' t have any snakes looking for rehoming just now, bit I may be able to help you with finding one locally if you don't fall for one online.
We have awesome Easterner and Butlers garters around here.
(I think a board member from Hamtramick had some cb easterns- not sure if they still do.))
Local pet stores and shows sometimes have checkered garters, and Brian Barcztck of snakebytes tv had his facility ion northern macomb county- he has several types of plains garters iirc. (But we have members with awesome. Plains garters right here!)

    Have fun with your search!
