Over feeding little ones

Is it possible to over feed babies or should they be fed as much as they can eat?

Yes it is and in my opinion a danger.
I believe some(which ones nobody knows) babies aren't developed enough to handle large meals.
I have no proof that this is the case but I have lost babies to what I believe is over feeding.

My feeding routine for my little one is every 2 days he get some pieces of trout and pinkie until i notice he has a lump in his belly.If he hasn't taken much fish or mouse i top him up with a couple of worms in the evening.Does that sound ok? (he's about 10" long)

Sounds good as long as he doesn't look like a sausage.

My snakes would eat until they burst if I let them. I have little Hades eating everything he can, though. He's almost 3, so he's not a baby... But he's small, and had no muscle mass when I caught him. He's the only snake that gets 'special treatment' as far as food goes.
