    A Miracle

As I was perusing(first time I've ever used that word) the internet I came across a U.S. based reptile seller, selling northern garter snakes.
This in itself isn't a surprise but what happened next is.
I drafted out a nice email and sent it to them explaining their error. I've done this a number of time to other websites and have never gotten a reply.
This morning I checked my email and found a reply from them that simply said "Thanks"
I then checked their website and guess what I found?

    They CORRECTED the mistake.
    Unbelievable

Remember the online pet store that I wrote to a few months back? The manager corresponded with me several times and even came on our forum to get info...he corrected all of the incorrect info on garters after talking with me. Sometimes people will surprise you. Good for you, Steve...one more small step for garters! Northern garters....*shakes head*...shame, shame....

I'd say a short-lived miracle. The site is back up, and there's no "northerns", but there's still some common names on there that aren't quite correct.
Also, what's with grouping Indonesia garter snakes with them?

I've had a similar response with one shop website but I see common names and scientific names wrong on there quite frequently so I've given up or I'd be emailing them constantly.

    Sometimes it indeed works.
Also nice is when people put their new website on a forum and ask you to look at it. And when you find things that are wrong, please let me know.

Often, when I do this, noting is done with it. Sometimes there is no reaction. Sometimes there is a angry reaction.
And the only things that I point out are misspellings or really stupid lies.
But sometimes people send you a thanks and change it.
