    i no this mite sound daft

    i no to most of you this will sound daft but wen u see for example '1.0 T.s.sirtalis' what does the 1.0 mean at the start?

    1.0 means male, 0.1 means female and 0.0.1 means unsexed.

    I'd like to try and take this one because I just asked not that long ago myself. The number, say 2.3, refers to the number of snakes of the said species the forum member has at home. 2 males and 3 females. For me right now I could say, 0.2 T. radix. (Oh and 1.0 T. radix that I could be pet setting for Steve...). Hope I got that right, if not someone will show me the error of my ways.


    I hunt and peck on the keyboard, and did not know that Reptilegeek beat me to this, darn slow fingers....
