Eastern babies, snow, albinos, melanistics and erythristics

This is one of the reddest females that the smoking Carteret Cty eastern produced a few years back. She was bred to a melanistic and a snow male this past Spring. Pic one is of the female that produced the brood, 2nd is the snow male, third is the melanistic male & 4th is the original Carteret Cty erythristic female. Coolest part about this brood of babies is I had no clue the female was gravid, she didn't show at all. She produced 25 live babies, 2 still borns and 1 died shortly after birth. There are albinos, melanistics, erythristics and a snow in the clutch.

I absolutely love the melanistics! I also love how the snows color up as adults! And that erythristic female, wow what color!

Thats a really nice litter Scott. Anxious to see what else you produce over the next couple months. I think I still have 3-4 plump prego females to go, but who knows if they are just fat and lazy or full of babies. I am not very good at judging that and often times I am wrong.

Thanks everyone, Jason and Jeff knows the special litter I produced today . Actually after examining the "anery" snake very closely, it turned out to be melanistic, which is weird based on the lineages !
