new to garters

Im new to these guys. I keep ball pythons. Lol. But i saw that alot of people keep garters. I live in washington state, there is no shortage of them here. But out of curiosity, i went and caught a couple wild ones. They are all in a seprate room so dont worry. The husbandry i got down. But i know nothing about them and would like some advise.
