    Question on size

Hey all, I have an albino checkered who was born May 2015, making him exactly a year old at this point.
He's currently approx 22 inches long. He's in a 10 gallon tank now, though I plan to give him a 20 long by December. Does anyone know what length most yearlings are? How much more might he grow, and at what length should he absolutely be in a 20 long? Thanks!

Huh, I was under the impression that they reached their maximum growth after two years. Would you assume he's a fast grower, or is it normal for them to finish growing around this point?

All snakes have what's known as "indeterminate growth" and they continue to grow throughout their lives. More than likely it slows dramatically at adulthood but it's evidenced by the way they shed throughout their lives. Probably in real micromillimeters, nonetheless they continue to grow.
Stay in peace and not pieces.

its normal in captivity for males and females to reach adulthood at 12-16 months. i did notice that my sirtalis grow a lil slower than my radix. in the wild they have alot less food and hibernate so it takes longer to grow.
