Hey, my name is Christian. I've been lurking around this site for years, but just recently decided to join. I've been keeping various garter snakes, as well as pretty much everything else, for pretty much my entire life, and I thought this forum would be the perfect place to share what I've learned, learn more, and meet people who share the same passions. I just have to say, thank you for the amazing info, and more importantly, the awesome snakes. It's nice to find a place where ball pythons aren't the only "pet snakes" and garter snakes aren't relegated to the realm of "garbage" snakes, and are appreciated as one of the most interesting and fulfilling animals kept in captivity. Many of you are much more experienced than I am, but I've learned a thing or two over the last couple of decades, and will gladly offer my two cents if I think it could be helpful. Mostly I'm glad to be able to share my love for this species with like minded individuals. So...thank you for the opportunity.
