    The Wait Isn't Easy

My girl Onespot, daughter to Spot is near death. She has developed a swollen area near her heart. She has been off and on food for the last 6 month. Over the last couple of weeks she has dropped a lot weight and has become lethargic(slow to move and very little tongue flicking)
Her mother was Spot, a wonderful wild caught T.radix. She died shortly after giving birth to Onespot. She had developed a swollen area around her heart so I took her into the Vet. It was decided that some exploratory surgery was needed. I was present during the surgery. Once she was opened up it was clear she had cancer. She wasn't revived.
Now, years later it looks like her daughter might be suffering the same fate.
    Onespot is a wonderful girl.
I don't think she is suffering so I hope she passes quickly. If at some point I fear she is in pain I will euthanize her with CO

Sorry to hear that. It's comforting to know that's she's spending the last of her days in a safe place.
