    Ravenous Little Monsters

I love to watch all my garter snakes eat but it's the babies that I love the most.
Those ravenous little monsters really get into it. Stalking whatever food item they are offered.
Striking their prey hard to make sure it doesn't get away. Then swollowing and getting another piece as quick as they can.
Always alert to someone jumping in and attempting to steal their prey.
Then to watch them relax after the frenzy is over.
    I love these little scrubs.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.

    This is not true.

...As that can be very dangerous and cause mouth injuries.

I have one that does that. Fish Bait likes to chase after that one but I watch them very closely during feeding time. With 6 mouths now feeding I have to be careful about food fights. Those are bad!

Ive had a food fight before. Kinda cool to watch but i hold onto each snake and once I pick them up one always lets go. No ones hurt and its good to go.
Steve weird question cause Ive been meaning to ask . Why do you call them scrubs? I wasnt here when it started so I dont think Ive heard why.
I wanted to Thank you Steve for your help with the heating pad.

I have 4 Easterns(mine: Furbie and Whiplash; moms: Diamond and Silky) all are 5 and half months old. So much fun gaters are.
