So I started an exotic-pet Youtube channel

Basically I got really bored and figured out how to work my webcam.

The only video I have up right now is on rosehair tarantulas, but I'm going to be putting up garter videos soon. If anyone has any suggestions or anything I'd love to hear them. At any rate, I'll post on the main forum when I do a garter one. Just figured I'd go ahead and put this up in case anyone is interested!

    Anyways, here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYL...Qm4gmfys2SOjRw

Nicely done. You already taught me alot about rosehairs that I didn't know (something I was actually thinking of keeping until Delilah popped into my life outa nowhere lol). Keep the videos rolling though for sure....when you gonna do garters, you have the potential to probably put out the best youtube vid on how to take care of them. All the rest are full of misinfo and omissions (just look at snakebytes vid ><).

Thanks! I love working with Shebulba (that's the rosehair) but she's a beast to deal with, that's for sure. I'm doing garters next I think... Probably going to do a series so I don't end up with forty five minutes of me rambling about how awesome they are lol.
OMG I was browsing the garter care videos-- part of what made me decide to do the channel-- and I swear three in a row from different people DROPPED the snake while they were filming! Nothing too dangerous, but still... Why would you put something like that out there as an example of how to handle one?

Sounds like a good idea. Break it down into sections like housing, feeding, breeding all that good stuff.

And yes, they are all terrible. I won't act like I haven't dropped Delilah (especially when she was first getting used to me and super squirmy) but ya, they could have done another take at least for professionalism.

Oh yeah, I think everyone that's had garters has had one dart out of their hands at least once, but it just seems like a bad idea to put it on the internet.
