    Thayeri hatching!

Well after two months they've finally hatched! Here's some pics of my thayeri eggs hatching and the first four that did hatch. Three more hatched after I took the pics, so that only leaves one more egg to hatch. The last egg is over a third larger then the other eggs....thinking super thayeri!!! LOL

Only got pics of them just starting to hatch, was worried about freaking them out with too many pics (nervous first time daddy!!!)

And here's the first four.....I'll try and get pics of all 7 (or 8) when they've all shed the first time..they're kind of dull right now.

Beautiful babies! Sorry, I still don't know much about other snakes, but are they milksnakes?

They're actually a subspecies of Mexican kingsnake....Lampropeltis mexicana thayeri...also called Nuevo Leon Kingsnakes or, for obvious reasons, Variable Kingsnakes. After Thamnophis, Lampropeltis is one of my favorite genuses of snakes.

Wow They're beautifull, Roy !!! Congrats with them.
I don't know much about other snakes also , but are these babies from the same parents? because their colors are different.
