    Cool New snakes from the expo in Houten (part 1)

    Hi everyone,

    Last week I was very busy so I had no time to visit the forum.
    But her I am.
    On the expo in Houten on october 14, 2007 I bought some new snakes. More than I had planned, but hey, who cares

    Here they are...



    Thamnophis eques cuitzeoensis - female





    Thamnophis eques cuitzeoensis - female - this subcaudal white is typical for this subspecies





    Thamnophis fulvus - female (got two females and I am looking for a male)




    Thamnophis cyrtopsis ocellatus - female

    AAAARRGGHHH!!!!!! Just when I thought my wish list was just about done, you show me snakes I haven't even heard of yet!! How does one keep up with all this??????????
    They are all fabulous snakes -- of course you were right to buy all of them!!!

    daaamn,,,how much did u pay for all of those? at pet stores here the garters ive seen were around 20$ a piece,,,for small ones,,and i just found a petstore who carrys different color ones,,,got a boa while i was there but will be going back soon myself,,,

    Prices were per snake:

    T. eques cuitzeonensis - € 130,--
    T. fulvus - € 40,--
    T. cyrtopsis ocellatus - € 40,--
    T. melanogaster canescens - € 100,--

    A lot of money, but I think they are worth it.

    Really nice ones. Especially that fulvus, you wouldn't happen to have more pictures of that species?

    Not yet, but I will give it a try soon. I do not want to disturb them too much.
