Only 1 baby? is that normal?

So my last garter to give birth so far has only had 1 baby but she looks very gravid still. Is this bad? I've seen 3 garters give birth in the last week and it's pretty much one after the other. It's been an hour at least and no other scrubs have come out I was hoping my orange garter would give birth to more babies

Yeah... I mean, they can have small litters, like 5 babies is common, but 1 doesn't sound normal....

Give her some time and space. Stress can cause them to hold the babies.
If it is stress it might be best to cover the enclosure and give her some alone time to deliver.
    Just an idea.

It happens occasionally. Sometimes one or two babies will come out hours ahead of the rest. I would take Steve's advice. Don't want her holding onto babies too long or they might suffocate.

Like Steve said, definitely leave her alone, in the dark. She'll give birth when she's ready.

I do too. It`s been 12 hours since the birth of the single baby. She`s in a quiet room by her self and nothing to disturb her. I hope she`s not stressed she`s my tamest garter I have. When I put my hand in the tank she comes to me right away and coils around my fingers. Just seems kinda odd that only one got through :P
