    cooking fish

Is there pros and cons to this? Is there a reason it's ever done? Does it destroy certain good things (or bad things as that), and do anything good?
I'm curious. Its been brought up, but i don't know anything about it.

If you do it, how do you do it? Just fry it?

I would think cooking would change the scent to something much less than raw scent.
    Just an idea.

I don't think saying there are no advantages would be completely correct.
The immediate advantage would be in killing parasites.

And I'll add that snakes (and any animal for that matter) will get more energy from it at a lower metabolic cost if it's cooked. A light "nuking" in the microwave will due just fine. They don't seem to care if it's cooked. In fact, if I'm cooking fish in the house, the snakes come out of their hides and go bezerk.

On the flip side, it does destroy some nutrients and enzymes.

    Also, it kills thiaminase.

And, from what I've read elsewhere on this forum, it can be helpful in eliminating harmful chemicals from fish, like heavy metals <insert electric guitar arpeggio here> and the like. Not sure how true that is, just remember reading it somewhere.
People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.
