I have 2 dbl het snow plains garter snake they are a pair they is 8 months old they were housed 2gether since babies.about last month i saw that the male was all over the female so i separated them because i was not trying to kill the female because of her age i m thinking her body is not fully mature to try 2 push out babies or slugs. Yesterday i notice that i felt 3 lumps in her mid section so i was saying to myself that if shes pregnant i have to feed her normally she eats 2 frozen thawed pinkies yesterday she ate 4 pinkies. If she is pregnant i hope she is able to push them out and hope she will prove out of what she is.

Trust me, she will be able to handle whatever her body produces. She will more than likely have a much smaller clutch and smaller scrubs but she is capable. I just had a nine month old female breed and produced three scrubs but only 1 survived.

Last year one of mine gave birth at 7 months to 21 healthy babies no stillborns and no slugs all survived she was het hybino and het snow bred to same she produced 11 albinos 6 snows 3 normals and 1 an erythristic she will be fine. About how long is she? Mine was 32 inches when she dropped lol. Think the hybino line is the reason she got so big the origanal hybino was about 4 foot She only produced one hybino the other albinos had varying amounts of red
