    Shipping young snakes?

I just saw an ad on Kingsnake for some 4 day old garters. Is it safe to ship snakes that young? Just wondering...

Ah, I wasn't sure if that was the same Scott. I just had heard with crested geckos that you shouldn't ship that young, so I was wondering about garter snakes. Thanks.

Actually, it is not Scott Felzer. Scott Felzer uses his full name in his ads, this guy signed one of his ads "Scott H." I realized this because they both have ads on kingsnake right now.

Does it say where he's from, or what type of garter? There is a Scott Hasbrouck in Michigan. Looks like he deals mainly with Pugets. Here's a link if you're interested:

I don't think it's the same guy, but not sure. He has a different email address in his ads. Right now he is advertizing red-sided, snow radix, and anerythristic radix.

Probably not him, the one I sent the link for kind of sounds like he'd know better than to ship snakes too young.
There are a zillion Scott's out there, could be anybody.

So shoot me, but I think 4 days is a little young for shipping, unless it's a pretty short journey.
