Sad news...

Well, as you know i was going to pick up my garter this afternoon. I was all ready, viv set up etc.
But when i got to the shop the owner said the little fella had died in the night, they weren't too sure about him which is why she wouldn't let me leave a money deposit on him Poor thing.
So i'm afraid its not going to be a garter, they have a few other nice snakes so i will have to think about it a bit more...

I'm really sorry to hear that But I also agree with the others, there are some nice garterkeepers in Uk. Please, don't get the wrong idea of garters, they're amazing snakes for sure, if you got a healthy one !!

Thankyou for all of the replies, i was so sad when they told me. I was all excited about getting the little guy.
Thankyou for the offers Rosina and Morph...they are much appreciated, i think i'm going to wait a little while. I managed to aquire a royal last week and i was getting the garter as well, so i think i may bide my time things are a little mad at the mo...
But no fear i doubt i will be able to resist the urge to buy one (or three... ) at some point.
I'll stick around and join in, i have to say this is one of the most friendly forums i have been on.
