The Winter '08-'09 Curse- and one bonehead move by me.

Well, the Winter Curse has stricken me again. We lost Norm, the normal corn snake. Poor little guy was barely weighing in at 3 grams, at about 11 inches long. Just couldn't stay with us.

Ok, gotta find a positive, can't stay negative. Um... On the positive side of that coin, we have one Corn that eats like a champ, and one more that looks okay, even though she isn't eating on her own.

And my bonehead move, I really thought I closed the Dart Frog enclosure. I'm *sure* I did. I felt it, I couldn't push the lid farther back. Yeah, that's right, because the lamp shifted and jammed it open. We only found 3 of the 5. I wonder if my temporary case of DUMB-A@@ is a result of the Curse, too?

Ok, gotta find a positive, can't stay negative. Um... On the positive side of that one, the little froglets burrow into the moss in the tank, so we're hoping they didn't escape. Not a probability, but a possibility.

Next full moon, I'm going out and doing a "Lift the Curse" dance. If it doesn't work for me by myself, Wayne, can we put it on the agenda for the World Meeting?

Sorry about your corn snake, Stephi. :-( And I hope your froggies are just hiding. Yeah, we need some positive change... you know the Lift the Curse dance has to be performed naked, right? LOL!!!!

I was afraid someone would say that!!!! It's 29degrees here, and I live in the middle of suburbia. No outdoor naked dancing here!!!!!

And YES, WAHOO!!!! They were all hiding, I found them this morning. Crafty little buggers!

Too sad about the little corn snake.
And as for the frogs.........well, you know the old saying "All's well that ends well!"
Glad they were all present and accounted for.
