The care sheet is a good place to start.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

    Re: Hello Everyone!

I am also new to the forum and very glad to find a reliable place for information....I have bearded dragons and I have become more interested in snakes. I have never thought of them as a pet until now because I see them in the wild frequently....I am looking for something small and fairly docile that is a goood snake for a beginner.....I have always been fascinated with garters but everyone keeps trying to talk me into buying a ball or a corn snake....I then just stop talking to them cause it is usually an upsell attempt to sell me a snake that is not even that easy to take care of and not good for a beginner....someone I semi-trust recomment a Kenyan Sand Boa over a garter for my situation....Are they both good beginner snakes? Which type of garter is an easier pet to take care of eastern or plains?
i apologize for the questions this just looks like the best place to ask
    thank you
