hey guys ans girls im new to this forum and don't have any garters yet but i would to catch a baby or yearling but im not looking for a regular garter i'm looking for a cool colored one like a flame or very light does any1 have any tips please and thanks

Your post is not stupid or pointless. Garters are a lot like people. For many the beauty is on the inside. Some of my favorite radixes are just the common colored ones for right outside my front/back door. They all have much to offer us poor humans.
I think any Garter snake would be just right for you.

I agree with steve. Plus you should never count out the boring ones, they may just surprise you! My girl was almost black with a dull tan stripe. One shed later she is a deep black with an almost neon yellow stripe down her back.

welcome to the forum. like everyone else said, normal ones can be real cool also. check Scott Felzer's Garter Snakes, specializing in aberrant garters Scott might have some left.
